Hallmark cards: For project one our theme is hallmark cards. hallmark cards is a company that manufactures and sells a variety of products such as cards books and ornaments. Most of the cards and things they sell are funny and comedic, which was the main theme for this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To learn more about hallmark cards as a company i did some online research and looked at a vary of websites and wrote information down on a piece of paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humor: As humor is the main theme of this project as teams, we did some research into different types of humor and how it’s used and what it is. We came up with lists of how humor is used. Like sitcoms, stereotypes and stand up. This was beneficial to us as we for the level 2 piece it was based on the idea on a sitcom and stereotypical characters, and it went towards our final piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an example of a stereotypical card. The card suggests that because it’s her birthday she is losing her memory supporting the stereotype that all old people have bad memories. This is what we use to help us find our characters. For example, some of our characters were inspired by stereotypes of highschoolers\/teenagers, a pregnant cheerleader, the quiet kid, the popular girly girl, and grumpy teacher and so on.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Living crisis: Living crisis is the increase of everyday essentials like food, energy, which is rising above average income. This will affect people’s everyday lives. It will also affect the performing arts industry as an increase in money can affect the money for props, costume and lighting everything that is crucial if you work in the industry, as money will go to bills and food instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
