- How do you feel this project went?
I feel that this project went well, although there could be room for improvement.
- What skills do you feel you have developed throughout this project?
I feel i have developed more characterization skills and my character developed the more we rehearsed, rather than me reading a script.
- What were your key strengths in project 3?
One of my key strengths during this project I think was showing leadership skills.
- What were the weaknesses in project 3?
One of my weaknesses was losing concentration and focus at times during rehersals.
- How effectively did you manage the overall process?
Overall I found the process stressful at times but It came together well at the end.
- Can you discuss any key research sources which have supported your process?
I used google as my main source of research. I looked at a variety of websites about peaky blinders and my character.
- How effectively did you apply the research?
I feel I effectivley applied them, it made me feel more like my character.
- What have you learnt from this project which you will take forward on to the next step of your own personal development?
I have learnt that although there can be times it is very stressful, i can manage it better.
- What have you learnt about the topic of Screen Acting?
I have learnt that in screen acting it is easier in some ways but hard in another e.g. perform (cut and restart) cues, different camera angles of the scene and facial/body language.
- What can you do now that you couldn’t do when you started the course?
I think that my confidence has gotten better, although i wa srely nervous duri g the filming, i was able to pull through and finish it. Where as at the beginning of the course I would of gotten really overwhelmed and only be able to perform a few lines.
- Why is learning this important?
Learning this Is important because it shows how well I am progressing and the more that I continue to develop the confidence, which casting directors won look for.
- If you were to do the project again what would you do differently?
If I were to do this project again i would focus more on the scene rather than be focusing on what my makeup looked like. I feel that it made me look less enthusiastic and distracted.
- How will you effectively apply this within your next project?
I will hopefully apply this in my next project.
- Did you enjoy the rehearsal process?
I enjoyed watching the scene gradually come together the more we practiced. And the end result was good. But ther definitely was room for improvement.
