Project 1: Viva questions

1. How do you feel this project went? I think that the project went well, we worked well as a team, although there could have been improvements in timing and transitions

2.What skills do you feel you have developed throughout this project? I feel that i have gained more confidence and improved on my listening skills.

3.What were your key strengths in project 1? My strength in this project was listening to corrections from others and taking their advice to my final performance.

4.What were the weaknesses in project 1? I think that my weakness was the scrapbook work I am not very good with computers and technology in general so the whole process was very stressful.

5.How effectively did you manage the overall process? Overall, the process of the project was a mixture of anxious and stress and the other half it was fun and exciting to watch our project develop into its final piece.

6.Can you discuss any key research sources which have supported your process? key research sources have been online, googling and researching about stereotypes and hallmark cards. i wrote information down on paper as a list or a spider diagram and watched slapstick videos on YouTube.

7.How effectively did you apply the research? I used the research to gather information on stereotypes which i used to develop knowledge for my character.

8.What have you learnt from this project which you will take forward on to the next step of your own personal development? One thing i have learned from this project is that i don’t need to be s0 worried about messing up and performing Infront of an audience as it will be okay and that the people in my group will support me.

9.What have you learnt about the topic of devised theatre? One thing i have learnt is how to properly write a script in devised theatre.

10.What can you do now that you couldn’t do when you started the course? One thing i can do know is perform in front of an audience without crying on stage. I have also made new friends and can work well with them.

11.Why is learning this important? Making friends is important as we will be working together for the next year, and we can listen and support others.

12.If you were to do the project again what would you do differently? I don’t know what i would do differently, maybe i would give more ideas forward to the group.

13.How will you effectively apply this within your next project? By contributing more of my ideas.

14.Did you enjoy the rehearsal process? Yes, i enjoyed watching our piece develop into the final product that we performed it was exciting and fun as well as a bit anxious.
