I will be going to start at the beginning of the evolution from the making of the lute all the way to the modern guitars such as the latest 9 stringed guitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the first guitar was a lute but eventually the shape of the instrument changed &#8220;many lutes had up to 20 or 30 strings \u2013 but the lute-like shape of the instrument was fading in popularity. The lute usually has more strings arranged in pairs, including bass strings that play octaves together, which creates a fuller and softer tone.
