In this project, we will explore the concept of community music. what it is, why it’s meaningful, and how it creates shared experiences. We’ll look at how these events—like the upcoming gig at a local nursing home—bring people together across generations. In addition, we’ll create CVs and cover letters that highlight skills we’ve developed through music—such as teamwork, coordination, focus, and flow state—skills that extend beyond music and can be applied to a variety of professional contexts.
