This is the first course I would like to apply for. Business has always interested me, and as of January this year, I have officially started up my first business. Leeds has ranked one of the top 20 universities in the UK to study business, This is why a lot of this list will be from Leeds university. The course requires AAA grades to be accepted. With this course I will learn more about how to run my own business. I am aware of the basics, but it would be great to get a better, in depth insight on how to do so properly.

Both business and economics have been ranked in the most valuable university degrees to have. I have a deep interest in both, so why not go study them. I studied business in high school, and if I stayed on at Sixth Form, I would have likely done finance. They are both very employable degrees and I believe the skills i would learn would benefit me greatly in my career. Leeds is close to home, so that is an added stress that can be taken away.
This course is at the university of Manchester, this probably the course i would like to be on the most. I am extremely interested in business, economics and finance, so this course is perfectly suited to me. Again, I would need AAA grades to get accepted into this course, the lowest they take is AAB. If i get an offer here, I am more than likely to take it.

This is my last option, and one that i am certainly considering. Doing open university would mean that i can obtain a degree from home. THis allows me to work a full time job alongside this. My peace of mind is completely altered by how much money I have in the bank, and I think being a struggling University student would have a negative impact on my education. This is definitely something I need to consider. It looks to be a great course, and as stated before, i can do all the work remotely.
These are my options for university. I will write my personal statement and apply to all of these through UCAS. However, depending on where I am in my career at the start of next year, it may be wise to take a year out.
