History Of House Music-

If I was to choose this idea I would go through the history of house music from start to finish. How it originated, How it progressed and is it declining? I can talk about the tracks and artists that built house music from the ground up. There are plenty of sources out there that can help me with my research, and as I am already extremely familiar with the industry and dance music in general, so this should be an easy write. I probably will not choose this idea, as i will find it too easy. I would rather choose another topic that i can learn more about and haven’t written about before.

Is Ketamine killing the dancefloor?-

There are plenty of sources about this topic that can help me with my research. I already find this topic extremely interesting, and the theory of ket killing the dancefloor, if true, could be detrimental to not only my career, but the career of many other DJs as well. Drugs have funded the clubbing and rave scene since the beginning of times. Many clubs main income is the supply of drugs that they sell themselves. Have they got something to do with it? Are people taking Ketamine easier to deal with than someone taking other substances? How does this relate to the economy and will there be change? I can also relate my own experiences from attending, and playing at raves.

The Impact Of Social Media On The Rave Scene.-

There has never been so many raves to attend. The population of independent events has never been higher, and the house music scene is no longer controlled by like likes of Defected and Toolroom. A lot of these events have been going for years, but why now have they become so popular? Its to do with social media. It has become a trend to attend raves. An industry that used to be so frowned upon has now been brought to the mainstream media. Is the influx of people attending these raves really good for the industry, or will they leave as quick as they have come in?
