Context- Excellent
I believe my context has been excellent. Every bit of research, evaluation and reflection has directly linked back to my work during this project. I do not believe context is one of my big issues, I have been consistent throughout my whole time on this course.
Research- Good
I believe my research has been thorough enough for myself to get through my project. I have done research into the tracks we played and their origin. I have done research into the history of jazz and how it was formed, this helped me while performing. I did research about my university options to decide which course and place is best for me. I believe my work has been thorough enough to attain this grade.
Practical Skills- Good
I believe my practical skills were good. It is no secret that i struggle with playing the piano, but I have really pushed myself this project. I have learnt all my parts and played them competently. I was a good addition to the band and helped carry some of the songs along. I also decided to MC the gigs which bumps my practical skills up.
Evaluation and Reflection- Excellent
I believe my evaluation and reflection has been excellent. I have been very critical when deciphering rehearsal videos and performances. This makes for a good evaluation. I have taken criticism and worked on it. In my evaluations I touch on not only my problems, but everyone elses as well. being able to see the good and the bad in every aspect of our rehearsal process leads me to think i will achieve an excellent grade.
Overall Grade- Good
I believe I will attain a good grade. I believe my work has been competent and cohesive which will lead me to this grade. I am working harder each project to attain better and better grades. For the next project I am aiming to get an even higher grade than good.
