Context- Good
I believe my context for project 3 to be good. There are many decisions that I have used my knowledge to alter. I have overcome a lot of problems and technical difficulties. I have also used context in my written work. I have gone about my written work very differently to how I have in the last two projects I believe my context was good.
Research- Excellent
I think my research has been excellent. I have done lots of research out studio recording and engineers who have influenced the industry massively. The research I have done helped me while doing the practical side of this project, for example setting up equipment in the studio. I have also sourced all of my research to make sure it is eligible for marking. I am happy with all aspects of my research and think it deserves an excellent grade.
Practical Skills- Excellent
Once again I have improved at performance and playing the piano. The parts I recorded for our song included both hands to play. I believe I played them very well. Mixing and mastering is something I have done in the past and I am very happy with how it has turned out during this project. I believe my mix is clean and sounds very professional. I would give my practical skills an excellent.
Evaluation And Reflection- Excellent
Once again, I believe I have improved at evaluating my work. I have given non bias evaluations for all parts of this project, and have reflected on what I could have done differently. If I was to do this project over again, I believe I would be able to do an even better job based of the feedback I have given myself. This is a sign of excellent evaluation and reflection.
Overall Grade- Excellent
I do not believe I have done as well in this project as I have in the other two, but this project has been much harder. I have put a lot of hard work into all aspects of this project and have got all my work done on time. Not only have I give very detailed evaluations and research but I have done so to a high standard. I have also done my practical work to a high standard as well. Hope you are happy with the work that I have produced over these couple of weeks.
