My name is Luke Ayres and this is my first year at Bradford College. I am currently working on the Level 3 Performance and Production course. The course is not what I expected. I have found many things to be extremely challenging. I also have thought that they were taking me away from what I actually wanted to do. However, the different things we have explored and researched have proven good for me and my future career. I have learnt many new things that I never would have learnt otherwise. Its proved very beneficial to me and my music journey.
Before going into Project 5, I was certain on what I was going to do and that has helped me work so quickly. I have been dying to work on some of my own music and now is the perfect opportunity to showcase what I have spent many years researching and working on. Music production started off as a hobby for me, but after the reaction that I have had to some of my releases, I am truly starting to believe that I could be a future career.
With each track I aim to better myself and my understanding of house music. This track has been no different. The friends and family I have shared this with have said its my best work yet, and I couldn’t agree more. During this project I will document the process that I go through with each one of my tracks. All the way from the foundation of the track to the release. This should give you an insight of my understanding for electronic music. My grades have been great since the start of the course and I aim to carry that through to project 5. I believe I can attain the best grade there is with this track and the plans I have for it.
When releasing music I always want to offer the best, and that is hard as I am only starting out as a producer. However, this track is definitely my best work and I am extremely happy to present it to you.
