For our Final Major Project, we are collaborating with the year twos to produce a Musical Theatre production of a play titled ”Grimm Life” written by David Aryes who wrote the play based of the Grimm Fairytales that were originally written by the Grimm Brothers. This project is something a lot different from anything we have done before as a company, having not looked into musicals yet, as well as something I have never done before. I am looking forward to exploring a new kind of theatre and the new skills that come along with it\/ As ”Grimm Life” was not originally a musical, we have been given some creative freedom with picking the songs included, as well as some of the other elements such as dance. I am really looking forward to this project as musical theatre has always been something I’ve been interested in. I am also looking forward in both developing my skills as an actor and my production role. For ”Grimm Life” I have been given the production role of Front of House assistant, so I will be focusing on audience experience as well as seating arrangement.
