What have you learn’t?: Mainly i’ve learn to be more time manageable, i used my phone notes to create a schedule so i knew everyday what i was doing, to make my work ethic more efficient i had time stamps in place so i could put more time into something that needed more work or less work, this at the same time helped me see if i was caught up in all areas of my work. I’ve learnt to be more comfortable on stage by knowing my parts well and just have as much fun as possible on stage whilst also trying to deliver the best performance , i’ve also improved my appearance on stage with a dress code that fits our bands style of music and how i want to be viewed on stage. My timing and rhythm has gotten a lot better with the use of a metronome and listening back to home rehearsals and the songs to see where i can improve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What are your strengths?: Time managing so all areas of my work are up to date, have a good amount of detail and explanation and being able to keep on schedule so i can maximise my time playing guitar and not having to keep catching up on work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Being a cleaner player all round as i’ve started to play the songs clean on my guitar instead of with my amp and effects which allowed me to hear more clearly if i was messing up at all on a song, using a metronome as well helped me a lot with keeping in time and improving my rhythm. I can now also record guitar for my videos, record my voice with a mic and edit it all together to make a much higher quality videos over all which is useful because i’m starting to make covers for social media and my band. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My stage presence is more engaging to watch too and has improved from not really moving at all to look like i’m enjoying what i’m doing, my style on stage suits the style of music were doing to as were doing heavy ish songs .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What could you improve? I’d like to improve how efficient i learn songs, my progress of learning songs is normally just playing them over and over again, but i’ve started to evaluate what needs more work in a song and then practice that one section instead of just repeating the whole song which takes more time. I’d like to be more rehearsed with my songs too as even in my last gig i was messing up songs a little bit or turning on and off FX pedals wasn’t going as smoothly as i wanted it to be, but being more efficiently with my songs should help with that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
