What is the project about?: This project is about learning how to properly record a song using a pro recording studio and then learning to use logic pro x to mix our track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
what are you going to be doing?: Learning to mic a drum kit, learn the basics to using a mixing desk, how to mic a guitar cab, how to use a compressor and how to use reverb on logic, how to equalise a signal and use a noise gate. Learn how to use panning and volume to give the track space and ballance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
what equipment will you be using?: Logic, amps, microphones, guitar, overdrive, fuzz, chorus, xlr cable, 1\/4 jack cable, mac books, headphone,SM57 dynamic microphone, groove tube GT55 microphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Specific: I need to continue with my current work flow and keep consistent now, making sure to catch up on work if behind so Im not rushing. I can also now head to having a distinction grade which I know I can achieve by doing more research and documentation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Measurable: This will be beneficial for me as it will increase my quality of work an give me a better understanding of what i need to do to achieve a distinction and keep my flow of the college routine which i used to struggle with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Achievable: I have a clear understanding of what i need to do to achieve the next grade and feel confident that i will achieve it because Ive kept consistent with my work flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Relevant: Ive always struggled with doing work so this is a nice experience to know I’m getting better at handling it and motivates me to get a higher grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Time bound: Im already on the move with being extra caught up with work since the start of project 2 and am constantly aware to be caught up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
