What’s the job as being a guitar tech?:
The obvious stuff is making sure everything is in tune, going on stage to hand them a new guitar if the guitarist has broke a string, a malfunction has occurred or they need a guitar with different tuning and basically making the guitarists life is easier and can focus on playing more. Then you would fix their main guitar with whatever problem they had with and hand them it back soon as and take the swapped guitar off stage. But when not at a show you are also maintaining the electrical components, swapping old or dead strings for new ones and stretching the strings out so they don’t go out of tune soon as its being played hard and making sure its set up properly and plays nice. Being alert and always having your focus on stage so you can react fast to any problems or start to think on how your going to fix them.
