Initial assessment

What went well:

What went wrong: I was definetley messing up the verse chords, mainly the G#5 chord wasn’t being fretted hard enough, and then some of the pinch harmonics just were not attatcked properly as well making them not as pronounced. And there was a lot of other strings that i could hear too and other noises that were not meant to be played/sloppy playing.

SMART Targets:

Specific: Target 1: Importantly I need to put more effort in evaluating my self and what’s good about the performance, not just what’s bad about it and adding more evaluation sections E.G what I could do better, what went well. Target 2: I’ll look into adding a backing track as it will make the video more interesting and easier to follow and Target 3: giving my self a couple more re records to make the content more engaging of the viewer and even recording the amp though a mic so I can get a really good quality audio.

Measurable: Re record my self showing I’m using a backing track with a micd up cabinet in the background.

Achievable: Yes because there is many backing tracks of You really got me van Halen online and I already have the song learnt and have the equipment home to record my with a microphone and interface and them mix them together using logic my Mac at home.

Research: I’ll research on google and youtube to see where other people download their backing tracks on YouTube and how they apply them to logic so then I can do it for next time.

Time bound: I think this is an easy and accomplishable task that I could accomplish by next project as I didn’t do so well with assessment because I struggle to start a new routine but am completely fine once I’ve got used to the routine and can complete work when its supposed to be done and with more effort.
