Voodoo Chile: Recorded on May the 2nd I968 Jimmy Hendrix would record a song called voodoo child which ended number 101 of 500 on the rolling stones list in 2004. There was 8 takes made of this song and the song came about from ABC television recording a short documentary and wanted to record jimmy and his band playing so they essentially just jammed for the cameras and came up with Voodoo Child. Voodoo Chile would also be the last song he would perform before his death. Here is some covers below that others artists have done.

You Really Got Me: Chosen by Warner brothers Van Halen’s 1st single would be a cover! Which the band wouldn’t be happy about, this cover would be You Really got me from the Kinks. Within 1 month it would get airplay on 140 stations across America, The song would even be included in the Film Night shift and in a 1996 Nissan commercial.

Hammer to Fall: Written by Brian May the guitarist for Queen they would release a song called hammer to fall in 1984 and was their 3rd song for the setlist of Live Aid. The song would also be played in the stranger things episode “The spy” and also in the movie Highlander.
