P3 Studio recording

Here Ethan is setting up the guitar, amp and overdrive pedal, preparing to record a guitar track so i can record over it as well and remember the structure properly as we have changed it a couple times.

Here we are setting up the dynamic microphone for recording (we’re using a dynamic microphone because it picks most of its sound from the front, reducing the chance of it picking up background noise and a clearer recording). The position of the mic is about 2 inch away from the subwoofer to get a good clear and big sound.

Here in the studio we have a mixing desk for recording and editing tracks. Most of the time we use it for setting volume levels, speaker to band members. Also to set voltage levels for the condenser mics for the drums and also to set the peak levels so the sounds not distorting, giving us the cleanest recordings.
