Reflection
What i did well: I worked well as a key part of the band and worked as a professional in band rehearsals, and practiced at home for them. Putting on an enjoyable performance. My Final performance was confident and accurate and put personal time into the songs i was given and then pushed more to add to the songs and challenged myself within them. Showing my capability of myself in the performance of vallerie and also showing my capability of using challenging techniques like open chords and barre chords.
what went wrong: In the reasearch department i there was lots of worl that i completed but didnt include. To show my learning process more clearly i should of included more reahersal videos, and included my plannning for the overall project. Looking at my evaluation the work was elongated and not direct, not always showing what areas to not improve/improve. Includeing most of the time evaluating the work as a group and not personaly aswell. Looking at the whole project i should assess the work more carefully as there was unfinished sections including a lack of rehearsal videos.
what i could of done better: Including more of my research into my work E.G i researched tones and guitar parts through the song and i could of documented that. Including more videos into my work would of been better to showing my progress more clearly. Making my evaluations more clear and not as on going, and should of refected more as an individual as well as a group, using targets to improve on my work, i could do this by using audio or video instead. I should of used my time more efficiently as i had some missing pieces of work, including using more depth when assessing my work.
What i could do next time :For next time i should assess this grade and aim for a higher grade for project 2 as i am fully capable. And documenting my college work into my digital space to fill in missing work, including rehearsal videos or even audio. Learning more styles like fingerpicking and to be a soloist which includes my own tone and using effects. Also making sure not to write too much in my assessments and evaluating on myself more as well.
My main 3 targets
1. Not writing too much in my assessments and getting straight to the point and beign more direct.
2. Being more careful and sensible with my time so i don’t end up having missing work/un completed work.
3. When assessing my work, that i am evaluating myself more and being more descriptive and clear with my own progress and work
