how can these risks be prevented <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main importance is to let a member of staff know if any of these risks are present. Like if there is an exposed wire. The sound technician may have a replacement wire if this happen. This ties into working at height. As this is similar to manual handling as they both just require corrective training and knowledge of the protocol in place to protect worker. Venue size can also be a risk if there are to many people in the crowd the best way to stop this from occurring is tickets that match the venues capacity there also is the issue of crowd condole if the is some form of issue it is important to keep the band and the audience members safe to do this there maybe barriers in place with security to protect the band another important thing to have is multiple exits in the venue to lower the chance of trampling in the case of something like a fire there is also a legal limit of concerts 107db. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

case study Radiohead stage collapse 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 19th 2012 whilst the setup of a stage was being rigged the stage collapsed this happened in downs view park in Toronto candida this disaster caused the death of Scott Johnson because of this Radiohead filed a lawsuit against live nation Candida and the engineer that designed the stage set up as they broke the safety laws in place as the roof of the stage was 7.260kg over its limits this was ultimately settled with the construction company getting fined $5000 for poor stage design <\/p>\n\n\n\n
