Recording skills, in the form of instrument mic set up and placement. I have also learned, production in the form of production techniques from both hands on experience in a studio and producer research. I think in this project i have chartered my production\/software skills (logic x pro). I have learned how compressors work and what role they play in music production. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How did the project go.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">i think this project when well because the deadline was met whilst still giving me insights in the recording and technological side of music. In this project i sang lead vocals for the track Evanflow by Pearl jam. I learned the lyrics to start with, but i had trouble learning the rhythem of this song as it is a fast rhythm i think in the future the project could run smoother if as a band we picked a song before rehearsal to maximize rehearsal time. This would have also help optimize the learning speed of the song as we had a setback due to the whether closeing colleges studio. I think an area that i could improve on is the research section of the project as I need to remeber to include references in my work. I think for the recording process the project when smoothly once the songs where learned by everyone in the Groupe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The track<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the track it was shortened slightly. With the solo being removed from the track this was done becuse of the time constraints of the project. Evan-though parts of the track are missing i still think the track flows well and works well for the project as it is mainly focused on the recoding side of the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What do I think I did well <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think my mixing of the track was a strong mix as it wasn&#8217;t too muddy and provided good enhancement to the sound whilst not making anything seem fake ore overproduced. I also think in this project my research was good but could be improved by including justification of why i used different production techniques and devices. One more thing that i think when well is the safety side of the project as the wires where tied to reduce trip hazards and the technology that needed to be properly handled whas handled correctly (valve amp) this will be important for industry and thurther specialization in higher education. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Evaluation for this project I have learned.
