ambiont double bass with minnamal symbls and the a casional snare hit this gave my the idea to have double bass playing in the background to provide for a strong back beat the double basss splits the whytham into many sections as the is alot of druming between the the main beats (16th notes)

as i die has a an intro that is a biuld up this is one of my infuances ofr my intoro for instrumentation this song also has effects to change the sound for a more reverbe type of recording this makes it sound sludge this is where i got the idea to add some sludge sounding effects to my rhytam gutar

pity for sadness has sections of fast drumming with a 8th note grove section that plays as a backing to the gutar

               1 2 3 4

snere class="wp-block-paragraph">these drums are simple but they work realy well to provide a backing to the gutar riffs

guitar and guitar effects

i started with an acustic gutar and added some delay distortion and echo then i used the same rhytham as the duble bass drums i moved the parts around to make a doom metal sound i halfed the speed of this gutar for a stronger doom metal sound this also made the tone sound slightly sludgey metal sounding this was influenced by a mix of two gutar tones N.I.B and electric funeral to add a slight stoner feel to the tone this was to try recreate a tone simmerer to tony iomies there was 0.5 octaves of donw tuning done to the gutars to give a heavyer sound this allowed me to make a contrast to the start of the song this contrast helps the sense of progretion in the music as the intro is verry quiet going in to a faster tempo verse allowing me to make a stronger and heavyer sound

the intro

<figure synth bells to add a degree of movement to this intro untill the second note of the gutar introduces the fast drumming this drumming is done with two kick drums to make a double bass pedal this give the track a strong back beat and keeps the progression moving this then adds a second gutar to create a main riff

the main riff
