At the start of my final major project I wasn’t exactly sure what exactly I wanted to do. I had in mind 2 main ideas which were either a commercial or a short film. But I was feeling very confused and hesitant on what to chose for my fmp. Despite being uncertain about it, the one thing I was sure of was that I wanted to end this project as a better version of myself, since this being my final project, I was very passionate and also determined to give it my absolute best. Additionally, I wanted to showcase the best of me, to show people what I am good at, my strengths and my skills. I put my all into this project and although it might slightly be different to what I originally planned it to be, I am proud and satisfied with the final outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
foe my project, I created a commercial about cars. I worked with my brother who is the model of the video. I was quite excited to get started with it all, but I have came across some challenges along the way. One major issue was time. We had very limited time to record everything all together, and later when I checked the footage of the recordings, I realized that many of the shots were either blurry or not even recorded because most times I have forgotten to press the record button. Unfortunately though I couldn’t reshoot the videos as my brother became busy and unavailable to redo it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite this setbacks, I managed to use the little footage I had and edited it to the best of my abilities. And I still managed to complete a commercial that I am quite happy with. Although, it might not have been perfect, but I am still proud of how I turned a difficult situation into something successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moreover, there are some things that I definitely need and want to improve on. One of the biggest lessons I have learned in this journey is that I need to become more familiar with the equipment I will be using. Knowing how to use it and operate different settings would have saved me a lot of stress and confusion. Also, next time I will make sure to plan my shots and angles in more detail. While recording I was feeling either confused or overwhelmed because I didn’t know how to bring the ideas in my head into reality and put it into action. I hope in the future or next big project I will create a detailed shots lists and maybe add some detailed storyboards that will help me stay organized and confident during production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
overall, this final project has been a huge learning experience and have enjoyed it far more than I expected. It had showed me where I need to improve for my next time but also reminded me of my passions and creativity. I am proud of how far I have come and excited for where I am heading next. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
