Reading books you get lots of knowledge and contains useful information, so I have chosen to use books to do my research about advertising. The book ‘Strategy Advertising Mechanism’ by Jorge David (2021) this book is quite modern and contains different new methods has helped me understanding the ways of persuading my audience and tactics to use in an advert. Advertising seems easier when you view it from the audience point of view and knowing the strategy and mechanism to attract the buyer which are few simple steps to put in the advert, for example, the most important strategic advertising mechanisms developed throughout the time: USP, brand image, positioning, etc. There are different ways and styles of doing adverts and you just have to find the method and style that matches your product. Another books that were interesting and helpful, for example, ‘Fashion & Advertising’ by Keaney, m. (2007) this one may bit a bit old but contains classic skills and tactics most people still use in their adverts. theres also one more book called ‘The Watch Book-More Than Time’ by Gisbert L. (2020) this the most modern and newest book that came out and it tells you the strategies of selling a watch and it was useful because I knew all about a watch like whats good and bad about it and what the information i need to put in the advert.

my demographic is for men aged 18-40
the platform it will be uploaded in is youtube because its most used social media platform worldwide, and is very recurred. and has a audience with a lot of diversity and very big range of age and its suits a lot to my style of advertisement I did.
from this pie chart i can infer that the total of youtube views is most viewed by asia and live near the pacific. the total percentage is 30% which shows the highest most viewed compared to the other continents. the two second most viewed are europe and also north america with a percentage of 27%. \

in this graph , it shows what an apple watch can do and the bit in gray shows compatible which is 91% which shows it is highly compatible.

These are the 2 watch adverts that i found on youtube which inspired me to do what i did in my advert, they are very similar to mine, the way that they are filmed are also timings are very similar.
in this example, it is a watch advert which is similar to mine. it advertises the company’s name and shows the logo by zooming in.
in this second example it is also a short advert for a watch and it focuses on the different angles of the watch which is similar to what i have done. And the creator has made it look very vintage which easily draws the viewer.
