Scrapbook

This is the stage makeup book I will use to help create my Scrooge look. I used this as I was struggling to create my main look.

I also, printed off the actors sheet so I can analyze my characters and get an understanding of what they portray and a bit of there background. this also give me the opportunity to message my actors on teams to arrange patch tests and practices.

This is the brief I printed of sorry that the image has gone blurry.

There is research I have done to get an understanding into wigs as we did a lot on wigs for this project. We used wigs as in the theatre industry they are a huge role in the performances as they bring the characters to life. We learnt things such as wig wraps and how to apply and style wigs. I have images of this in my weekly reflection. I will screenshot my slides and put them underneath.
The reason I researched theatre lighting is so I knew if products would show up under theatre lighting. This was helpful as I new where to apply more product in creating stronger colours in the lining. I also researched many key theatre products to get an understand of what products are most used and are helpful. The reason I did this is so I know why the products I use are helpful and what they do for the face and makeup.
I researched wigs is because we where using them a lot in this project. I researched different fibers and wig types as i know what is best to work with and what are the best fibre styles to buy and work with.
Researching facial muscles was very important as it helped me locate where the main facial muscles of facial movements where. This showed me how the face ages more in certain areas helping me show more sagging and wrinkles in specific areas. Also researching aging skin helped as i got an understanding in how to help my models skin to age less in products to use and what to not do if I don’t want to age so fastly in the skin.
Researching the Christmas carol was a priority as that is what my project is. I got most of my help from my GCSE books. It helped me understand the moral of the story and what is the purpose.

Please ignore the colourful backgrounds I tried to add some colour but it just looks messy.
Final look images.
After the final performance the wigs got washed and because my actor scrooge had her hair dyed some of the colouring got transferred onto the wig.
