Actinic Keratosis – This condition leaves a thick, scaly, or crusty skin patch, that is usually less than 2cm. The appearance of this condition can vary, it can be a flat or thickened papule, or plaque. It can also be white or yellow, scaly, warty. It can also be red or pigmented. The most common age to get this particular skin condition is between 35 and 50. It is a lot more common in males. This condition is more common in males than in females. Actinic Keratoses (also called solar Keratoses) are dry, scaly patches of skin that has been damaged by the sun. It is not usually serious, however there is a small chance that the patches can become skin cancer.

Acne- This is a condition that affects most people throughout their life and it is often located around the face, neck and shoulders. It is a condition that results from clogged or plugged hair follicles that present under the skin. It appears as a small to large, red bump on the skin which can be painful and filled with pus in most cases.

Hives – Hives appears when you have had and allergic response to something in the environment. It is an itchy, raised welts that are found on the skin. They are often red, pink or flesh colored. Hives can last several months or even years. The family history can increase the likelihood of having hives. It is a skin rash with red itchy bumps that is a result of an allergic reaction of the body. Hives can be caused by factors such as pollen, medications, food, animal dander, and insect bites. It is also possible that you can develop hives as the result of too much exposure to hot or cold temperatures or from irritation due to excessive sweating.

Cold sore – Cold sores are very common and can clear up on their own within 10 days. They usually start with tingling, itching or a burning feeling. They are fluid filled blisters on and around the lips. They are often grouped together in different patches. Some of the symptoms that your getting a cold sore can often include painful gums, fever, sore throat, headache, muscle aches. After the blisters break, a scab can form that lasts for several days and they usually heal within 2 to 3 weeks without leaving a scar.

Rosacea – Rosacea is a long term skin condition that affects the face. It can be more common in women that have lighter skin, but often the symptoms can be worse in men. This skin condition usually affects parts of your face such as your nose, cheeks and forehead. However it can also affect other areas like your neck, upper chest, back and ears.

Eczema – One of the most common forms of eczema is Atopic eczema (atopic dermatitis) it is a condition that causes the skin to become itchy, dry and cracked. This form of eczema is most common type of eczema in children and this often develops before their first birthday. Eczema can cause dry skin, rashes, scaly patches, blisters and skin infections. The most common symptom of Eczema is itchy skin.

Morgellons diseaseis – This is an uncommon skin disorder and presents itself as skin sores with small fibers or thread like material coming out of unbroken skin. This particular skin condition can cause someone to feel as though there are insects crawling on top or underneath their skin near the infected area. This skin condition is often mistaken as a psychiatric disorder.

Argyria – This is a rare skin disorder which can cause the skin to change color into a blue or grayish hue. This can be caused by an overexposure to silver. if someone ingests a large dose of silver or is exposed to a small amount of silver for a prolonged period, silver particles can deposit in the skin and stain the skin.

Ichthyosis vulgaris – This condition is a genetic skin condition also known as fish scale disease. This causes the skin to be unable to shed dead skin cells properly. Although majority of cases are mild that present with dry, dead skin cells accumulation in one specific area of the body, some more severe cases can cover larger spaces. It occurs in one in every 250 people.

Shingles – Shingles is a painful condition which is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox. Any age person can get it however, it is a lot more common in older people. There are some main symptoms which are painful, blotchy rashes on one side of your body. It mostly affects the skin however, it can affect the eyes.
