I like ben giles’ work as i like how the collages have a whimsical, dreamlike quality, featuring surreal juxtapositions of objects and figures as well as much of his art being open to interpretation and not having a direct meaning – focusing on the feeling the art creates when seen. something i will take from his work is how visually striking it is through the use of bright colour in contrast with the black and white as well as different medium through uses of texture and a combination of sources of imagery.
