I would like to go study in York as it is a very nice place to live in and it’s a nice town, however the course is just not right for me. The course is very academic and more towards the classical side of music which isn’t what I’m looking for. I want to be in c course that is very practical and more to do with pop music, so i won’t be choosing this course.

This course is my top pick. This is partially because of how close to home it is, I’m no where near ready to move so far away from my family and this course is really good to say its just in the city over. The course is very practical which i really like as I’m not looking for a very academic course where i have to write essays upon essays. It also has so many opportunities for me to perform, with in being in the center of Leeds so many venues will want performances.

I like this course and university however i do feel like it is slightly further than id like to go. I like the course itself however it looks to be very theory orientated which I’m not too sure about. Because of this I won’t be putting this down as an option.

I really like this course and its not too far away from home. I had a look around this Uni and the campus was really beautiful. I feel for me, this is a strong second choice for Uni as it didn’t have as many good opportunities for live performance whereas Leeds did.
Music Performance BMus (Hons) at University of Huddersfield (whatuni.com)
This course at Huddersfield University is also a Uni that’s high on my list. I’m yet to have a look at the performance side in the Uni itself but got a taster day in the tech side of music and was really interested in all of their equipment and rooms. I think once i see the performance side at the open day, hull and Huddersfield will be fighting for my number 2 spot.
