The start of this song went alright except for the fact that me and Eric (guitarist) were playing in completely different keys, so I tried playing one fret up to put us in the same key except I found that really hard considering I had only just learnt the song. This meant I struggled a lot more with the chorus as I already found the chorus tricky to play.
This rehearsal was way better, Eric had tuned his guitar down to half step meaning I could play in the original position I learnt it in and so could Eric. I definitely think I could have been turned up a bit more I can’t really hear myself. I really need to keep practicing to the song however as my hand really started cramping up whilst playing it.
This rehearsal went well as we got all the songs down and they sound fairly good. There were times i messed up because i had only just leant the songs but if i keep practicing them with the songs then I should be able to play them well for the showcase.
