Because me and the singer of smoke break (Aimee) left the band we have to create a whole song in 2 weeks. We have decided to go down the piano and singer route including acoustic guitar. Adele is a great inspiration for what we are trying to create.

Here i created a chord progression and melody which Nik played for me. At first the chord progression i made wasn’t in key so we changed it slightly so it would be easier to create a melody over.
Here i worked with Nic to come up with a main melody for the chorus of the song. To do this i had to figure out the key so that i knew which scale to use.
