I decided to make my advert 1080px by 1920px. I did this so I could advertise on TikTok, Instagram/Facebook stories and Snapchat. I chose these platforms because the demographic for my product is for teens, young adults and adults and these are the most used social media by that age group.
I layered the text and added several different clips of the product. This made it so I could then see which parts are text and clips so I could easily add more to it.
In the end there was a problem with the rendering where the background turned black. To fix this I added a white solid in the background and this made it so when it rendered it had the background it was supposed to.
It was difficult finding music that was both royalty free and actually worked for the aesthetic. To work around this issue, I opened GarageBand and used their free loops to make a song I wanted myself. This also helped me customise the song anyway I want to make it work with the advert better.
