Branding
I decided to create branding for my media outlet to make it more professional. I named it “The Ivegate” after Ivegate in Bradford, as of course it is based in Bradford.

This is the logo I designed which is largely based off The New York Times. I decided this would be the best design, it is very modern and simple while still having a level of sophistication and professionalism to it.


For the thumbnails, I added a grey gradient coming up from the bottom and the logo for my media outlet. This makes the thumbnails more professional and when uploaded to YouTube they are more likely to be clicked when better presented.

I also created a website for “The Ivegate”. This helped me when visualising what I wanted the branding to look like and when I eventually got it all how I wanted I decided to post my article onto the site, which made the article itself seem a lot more professional and more credible.
