As a group we decided that we will be doing a talk show about bradford. This way we can have different sections of the show. Me and Meher will be responding to viewer questions in the studio and will be interviewing people on the streets about what it is like to live in Bradford.

Meher – Hello and welcome to Bradford’s favourite TV show Bradford TV! I’m Meher.
Henry – And I’m Henry. We’ve got an action packed show for you here tonight, With acts ranging from interviews to reading your questions to even a live music performance.
Meher – The one and only best ever talk show streaming live from the Bradford college studios with amazing topics to talk about and be answered.
Henry – We feel honoured tonight to be back again for another Monday bringing the people bradford entertainment.
Meher – Are you ready for tonight?
Henry – Yeah absolutely.
Meher – Nah mate I aint talking to you. *shouting* Audience are you ready for tonight!
Henry – Mate you need to calm it.
Meher – Wait why?
Henry – Because it’s time to read our peoples questions.

Our group idea began as a gameshow but then we thought if we change to a talk show we can have different sections of the show. For example we could have a discussion section, an interview section and a live music section.
We were also going to have a section where we ask for food recommendations and then visited the restaurants and tried the food out for ourselves. Unfortunately we were forced to scrap the idea due to being on a strict budget and not being able to afford visiting the restaurants.
I then put some loops together on GarageBand using their “Apple Loops” where I created a theme song for the show.
I then recorded my voice saying:
Live from Bradford College Studio. Please welcome your hosts Henry and Meher. This is BRADFORD TV.
Then I added a narration vocal filter and turned up the reverb and ambience effect to make it seem like it was in a large room. I then added applause sound effects I found on “BBC Sound Effects” which is a library of sound effects which are all royalty-free. This made it seem like it was in front of live studio audience.
We were in the studio a lot practicing for the actual recording. We all rotated roles so we could all experience what it is like in each role. This proved to be affective as by the end everyone knew how to use all the equipment.
We started with this logo which is very simplistic and modern. This didn’t seem to be a good fit for the show because it was far too simple.
We then switched to this logo designed by Meher. This logo seemed to fit the brand of the show much better.
