This is my mind map to do with dreams i wanted to look and develop the ideas of the dreams that we have when we are asleep in more detail so i did research on dreams.
WITCHES IDEAS MIND MAP
This is my mind map of what i decided i would base my project around. I wanted to do witches as it is a big part of my life and i aspire to become a better witch a i grow up so i thought that basing the dreams project on witches would be a good idea.
In this workshop we did Batik. For this i wanted to focus on the different symbols that you see in witchcraft. I wanted to be able to make it clear as to what the symbols were. If i was to do this again i would use a different mark making tool, one that was thinner so the design would show up clearer.
In this session we did Mixed Media. In this piece i wanted to show a witch burning at trail so i used orange tissue paper and red string to look like the fire. I also used different coloured tissue paper, newspaper and drew onto the background. If i was to do Mixed Media again i would make sure to have a plan a to what i would do before starting immediately.
MONO PRINTING ADDITIVE & SUBTRACTIVE
In this workshop we did mono printing. My designs for this was to do different symbols for the additive prints and for the subtractive printings to do a design that includes at least one symbol. If i was to do this again i would make sure to do the designs that other way around so that it would be the correct way around.
In this work shop i did print making. After cutting photos up an putting them on A3 paper. I then put water based inks on a surface and pressed down on the paper with a pencil so the design would come up on the other piece of A3 paper. If i was to do print making again i would make sure that there was a right amount of ink on the surface so that it would print right.
In this work shop i made a zine. My zine had infomation about witches’ symbols, spells and spoken word spells. This zine is a little infomation booklet to understand some important thing to do with witchcraft. If i was to make azine again i would make sure that the pages were straight and i would also put some more infomation to do with witchcraft, like more spells what different colours mean and represent.
