So how this was done was I opened the game on my console to which I was able to cast my screen to my laptop. After this I set the camera on its tripod and began recording and playing the game. A weakness to this was that the camera was not properly angled due to a makeshift miniature table I made on my desk to which I placed the camera on with the tripod it only captured the upper half of my body from neck up.
