For this project, I decided to study urban culture. For my research, I looked into music artists that may represent this by looking into their lyrics and analysing their album covers. For one of the artists, I organised an interview to get his outlook on urban music and what urban culture meant to him. I also looked into urban fashion and styles from the 90s to modern day. For experimentation, I looked into graffiti styles and tried to incorporate them into my pieces. The one thing that I need to improve on is my time management, something I want to get sorted for final major project.
