For this workshop i was given a singular pencil with the rule of not sharpening it. time limit being 30 minutes i went down the route of painting the Kosovan flag. i enjoyed this practical task as i rarely use 3d objects in my art so it was useful knowing i could experiment more with everyday objects. if i did this again id cooperate the pencil into the design more, maybe rolling it in paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using a stencil, i scrapped the colours of the Kosovan flag smoothly cross the stencil. I like the result however i wished that the dots came out clearer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

For this workshop I freehanded using different materials such as a big sponge and many types of brushes. what went well was the vibrancy of the ink appeared well. some colours mixed together to create muddy colours though which I didn’t like. this gave me more confidence for my other workshops as i got to test ink onto fabric. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

For this workshop, I got told to use the art of line in a piece. I replicated the design worn by women when attending weddings. A strong armor like frontal piece is worn. using curved lines I demonstrated this: sharp and smooth lines made also displayed. i enjoyed doing this as I had to research traditional clothing linking well with my theme of culture being Kosovo fashion. if I did this again id go into more detail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
