Context – Satisfactory – Context is one I still struggle with but I think I got through some of it, though nowhere near enough for the target grade I should be getting unfortunately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Research – Satisfactory – I believe I showed a good amount of research in certain cases, namely the Composition Analysis and History of Music in Film tasks, however I am lacking in other areas and I definitely could do with more detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Practical Skills – Good – In regards to my bass playing, I made a great deal of progress and learnt to play much quicker, with more interesting rhythms, as well as getting to grips with where notes are. As for the DAWs we used, I think I did very well to get to grips with them in the time I had, I\u2019d never used one before so to make the progress I did was good. However I could\u2019ve evidenced my learning a lot more and show exactly how I did some things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Evaluation\/Reflection – Good – Whilst I did a fair bit of writing throughout the Rehearsal Log, I didn\u2019t do as much as last project so I can\u2019t expect as much here. Not staying on top of my written work is where I let myself down, and led to me not managing to put out my best work – particularly in this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall – Satisfactory – There are good moments in amongst the rather average moments which are easily in the majority. I\u2019m happy with what I got out of this project but disappointed in myself with how I handled the written work. A lot of this comes down to procrastination and terrible time management; in future I need to ensure that I don\u2019t leave things last minute and find myself with a substantial backlog of work to complete at the end of the project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
