1.How do you feel this project went?

I think this project went well however I was struggling to keep up with the digital work but i managed to get it done in time for the deadline.

2.What skills do you feel you have developed throughout this project?

I think I have developed my skills in creating no-makeup makeup as well as developed better skills in creating special effects.

3.What were your key strengths in project 3?

I think some of my key strengths were I already have a Stonge skill in hair dressing this helped me when practicing Edwardian hairstyles as well as when we practiced for male barbering. As well I have previous knowledge on small special effects which has helped me with my character design.

4.What were the weaknesses in project 3?

Some of my weaknesses in this project have been applying stubble to my character design Stu as I was struggling to get the fake hair to stick and look realistic. As well as making my model look masculine without it looking like they were wearing to much makeup for film and tv.

5.How effectively did you manage the overall process?

I think I managed the overall process okay as I was able to overcome any problems I was facing.

6.Can you discuss any key research sources which have supported your process

I have used a Varity of research sources. Some of these are websites as well as YouTube videos  that I referenced in my scrapbook.

7.How effectively did you apply the research?

I think I applied my research really effectively as it helped me overcome any points I was struggling with or wasn’t quite how I wanted for example through my research I learnt new ways to apply special effects that helped me create a more realistic look for my character.

8.What have you learnt from this project which you will take forward on to the next step of your own personal development?

I have learnt that cameras can capture any small imperfection so I now know that I need to pay attention to detail strongly when doing makeup for film and tv. I have also learnt how to make my own prosthetic on a budget that will help me in the future if I ever need a prosthetic on a low budget.

9.What have you learnt about the topic of make up for screen?

I’ve learnt that less is more. This is really important for makeup for screen as ever little imperfection can be seen and you want your models to look more awake and fresh and not cakey with a load of layers of makeup as this will show up on the screen.

10.What can you do now that you couldn’t do when you started the course?

I now know how to apply no- makeup makeup for males and how to create a prosthetic on a budget.

11.Why is learning this important?

Because it helps to develop are skill for industry so after this course, we have the skills for university and then work. Which teach us how to keep professional and have a variety of different skill so we can go into different areas of the makeup industry.

12.If you were to do the project again what would you do differently?

If I was to do this project again I would think about my product knowledge more and expand on it. As well as look at different ways to create masculine feature without it being to heavy for film

13.How will you effectively apply this within your next project?

I will look at different products and the benefits of them and how they can help me with my designs.

14.Did you enjoy the rehearsal process?

I did however I think I need more rehearsal practices as well as reliable models as mine have been either late or didn’t turn up making it more difficult for me to practice my work.
