Project 5
Section 1:  Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Since starting this level course I have evolved in so many ways musically and personally. in the first project I changed by working with others on a song and taking on their advice and idea’s further making me better, I also had to preform a live set in front of 150+ people, this helped my confidence and learning how to handle stage nervous and my stage presence. this includes the way I present myself and how I engage with the crowd. Project 3 developed my production skills and knowledge to a further point than before to where I’m now confident in making beats and executing my ideas. it also improved my music theory knowledge what I need to research to a further extent still but I have still showed progress.
Section 2: Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
My aim for this project is to create an EP with a theme of dark sounding songs transitioning into light happy songs with the genres consisting of Punk Rap, plugg, pluggnb, rage, trap and video game inspired samples. To reach this goal I will need a bundle of equipments including a Mac, keyboard, mouse, headphones, midi keyboard, a DAW (Ableton and Logic Pro X), microphones and a mixing desk. I will be producing and recording the songs myself while mixing too. i intend to finish the EP by the lat two weeks of the project timescale so that I can promote the Ep and social media platforms and to people in real life.
Section 3: Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
This project will allow me to improve my technical skills and creative capabilities. By producing and recording the EP independently, I will gain experience in all aspects of music production. Reflecting on my progress, I will evaluate my achievements and will feel prepared to tackle future musical projects with confidence.
