I could research different techniques and dynamics from a range of producers to help me when creating a beat, while also getting further knowledge on chord progression.

In this screenshot is a drum kit sequence, the kicks on rock beats are usually in a 2, 4 sequence but i changed it around to add dynamic.
I did this by doing a kick sequence of 2, 4e and d, 5e and beat 6

Updated

I later corrected the timing of the instrument and changed the C to an D to match with the other instruments.
