For this project I will be making a EP, the ideas I want to implement is transitional songs, a big inspiration of this idea is a Producer/Artist Pierre Bourne. Throughout the whole album each song transitioned into the next almost making it sound like one big song, but only one main instrument stayed the same each song but changed so the album never seemed boring or repetitive.
On this album I will be working with Another student called Jay barker with the stage name of ViviWEST, which we already have worked on songs in the past and have experience on both mixing and composing. We also do the same type of genre of music so it will be a good match.
The promoting and marketing will be on social media on apps like TikTok which is currently the most engaging app right now for artists because other people can use your sound and with the right hashtags you get pushed on to people’s for you page.
Another app I would promote on is instagram because that’s where my artist page will be and it will help me grow a fan base for the people who like that type of music and will be a way for to contact me for potential business reasons, either other artists willing to collaborate or media businesses for video shoots for potential music video’s.
