This was the first time mic&#8217;ing up to record something inside the college, we use XLR cables, condenser and normal microphones in order to capture all the sounds from the drumkit, amps for the guitars &amp; the bass. The problem I had to overcome in this situation was the real piano was a room away from our box for the mixing desk input. To overcome this we had to connect two XLR cables together to create a longer input, so we could reach the mic setup in the piano room.
