microphone type – frequency response and polar pattern, why did you use a condensor mic?
This is the frequency response for the microphone we used (SM58 Beta) It boosts the bass, mids and mid highs which is the reason I favour it over other microphones. It brings out the brightness and power in my voice compared to other microphones. The titan microphones to me also sound very lifeless, colourless and dry. This dynamic microphone sounds like it is performed live which I love.
This is the frequency response for the titan microphone it gets rid of the bass keeps the mids flat and boosts the highs. This is why I dislike using this microphone it takes away all of the things that makes my voice sound good and on top of that makes it sound lifeless.

For this project I am going to use samples without clearing them or asking permission to use them. This can lead me to getting sued although this is an extreme example it is still a possibility so to lower the chances of this happening I will only release this LP on youtube without any ads so if this LP somehow does gain a lot of attention I am not making any money from it and it solely made for entertainment purposes and since it is only released on youtube the worst thing that can happen is it being taken down but thats about it.
In the description for each song I will add this to it
“I do not own the rights to this sample” and “No Infringement intended”
With a link to the original sample at the bottom so it is very clear me and marcel and not intending to make any money from this LP and are not trying to infringe anyones music. It is made for entertainment purposes.
This video was very helpful with my mixing especially learning how to use the EQ better, the threshold and compressors. It taught how to do basic things as well like muting the rest of the audio files whilst mixing a single one. Basic things I did not know about mixing
This video taught me a lot about frequencies knowing what frequencies are needed and which arent.
