After listening to Hallmark, I have learnt that they do a lot of different things such as cards, gifts, ornaments and they also do personalised things. They do different designs for different seasons such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter and a lot more they have a certain colour scheme for the different seasons and events but they are trying to stray away from the colours you would naturally see like for Mother’s Day you mainly see pinks and lilac. Some companies that hallmark sends stock to is Morrisons and M&S as well as Aldi. They also forecast the trends that will happen and they product what colours will be best to do and what will sell well. They don’t pick the colours for fun they look at how the colours affect people’s feeling and what the colour could portray it is not there so then it is not fully black and white. They also have a specific colour to do with them and that colour is purple so then you can get a quick idea of the company. Hallmark is a global company. Taking in the information i got from hallmark is that l needs to look into the relationship of my colour what colours go with it and what colours that are complementary, like how my colour is green the complementary colour would be red and that yellow would be a harmony colour to green as well as thinking about the different shade of green i can use because different shades can affect the people and the surroundings.
