At the beginning of the course I started off with the ideas of hijabs this surprised people and wondered how this related with me it is the fact that I liked it Bradford and I grow up knowing different religions and learning about them bit by bit and I look ad see traditional and non traditional  clothing and I like how some things got westernised because things tend to change when they are in different areas. I have different artists that  I looked at and took inspiration from them and did different techniques. I have done three photo shoots and I went into the darkroom twice and each time I went into the darkroom it worked well just wasn’t the way I wanted to go with my work and I am glad I decided to go on a third photoshoot or else I wouldn’t have the photos I am fully happy with as well as I wouldn’t have my final image. I originally wanted to try different pattens on the hijab but it didn’t look right and I wanted the hijab to pop in the image so that is what draws you in not anything else so I took the photos with a white background so then it will make the background look boring so people focus on the hijab and the model which is the main focus of my work. I did a shoot in the studio with the Octo box but the lighting was not what I was looking for so I tried location for my second one and I loved the natural light not the studio lighting so I did my third one on location which was the d floor in the lister building at college. In the darkroom I overladed photos one of Aisha and the other was a patten moulded to the shape of the hijab  and then I inverted both of them and then printed them and then sent them in to he darkroom I looked at the images and also scanned them in and I didn’t really think that would fit my ideas for my final outcome so I decided to leave that but if I was going to go further I would go back into the darkroom perfected he look I am wanting even print out different patterns and test them out and see if I like the look of them and see if it fits with my idea of a final outcome nut I decided against it because that was just experimenting to see if I really wanted to do it for my final outcome but I am glad it chose to do a photo of my model wearing the scarf a different way because I fell in love with my final photos and I love how the hijab stands out with out having a lot of work done to the image just a neutral image I didn’t do any pattern in the image so I theory I really like that experimenting in the darkroom helped decide what I wanted to do for my final outcome.
