For this project, I did both primary research as well as secondary research into different things to inspire the outcome of this project. The research I did helped me with inspiration for what to create for my final piece as well as see what ideas I had worked with, what I had in mind and what didn’t work. An example of this would be my experimentation with creating a character through digital art. I decided to use digital art to see if I wanted to create a digital piece or stick with my 3D piece idea. While I liked drawing my character drawing, it only cemented the idea of creating a 3D piece in my mind. One issue I found was not finding the items I was planning on using on my jacket like small chains and band pins. So, because of that issue, I decided to create my chains using various items such as drink tabs and safety pins. I decided that I preferred the drink tab chain, so I added that onto the shoulder. I honestly prefer the chain I made to a regular chain as I think it fits my theme better since punk was about Down chains using various items such as drink tabs and safety pins. I also like the direction my project went in since my final piece matches my theme. There arere are a lot of factors that go into punk culture, with the most recognizable being its fashion styles, which were the main thing that inspired me. During this project, I’ve learned how to paint onto fabrics as well as how to screen print designs onto fabrics as well as a lot more about the history of my theme. I do think there may be room for improvement since I didn\u2019t get to do everything I wanted for my final piece, and I didn\u2019t get to experiment more with the idea of using Lino on top of the fabric to create a design on fabrics that way.
