Final Piece ✓

To create my final piece, I needed to create my lino prints first. While I already have some stamps that I’ve used before, I wanted to create some more stamps so I carved some more from some spare linoleum.

Here is all the stamps that I had during this.
Here was my attempt at mixing multiple coloured shapes. I didn’t like how it looked so I kept my idea of 1 colour per print.
Here was me trying to overlap the red onto the black. The red was more transparent so it didn’t work the way I wanted it to.
Here I made a repeating pattern with the circle and leaf stamp. I liked the random patterns more so I decided to use that for my final piece instead.

All my prints were done with this piece of paper in the background so that they didn’t get ink all over the tables. That way it would be easier to clean up afterwards.

For the colours, I decided to go with the primary colours, and use yellow, blue and red inks mixed with white. The red went more pink but I prefer the pink to the red so that’s completely fine to me.

I scanned the lino onto a computer that had photoshop and added some details on the shapes.

These are how my final pieces turned out. I love how they look and I’m glad I chose to do this for my final pieces.
