Section 1: <\/strong> <\/strong>Rationale (approx. 100 words)<\/strong><\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
In past projects I have learned even more on how to perform live, compose music on different DAWS and doing songwriting. Using these skills, I\u2019ve have written, played, recorded and mixed 2 original songs as well as covering 6 songs live in front of an audience. Knowledge I have acquired while doing these projects is how to mic up guitar amps and how-to mic up drums and how to set up a mic for a vocalist. Also, I have learned how to mix better than I originally did. This has influenced my pathway because I love writing and recording songs and I enjoying doing it on my own but this time I am collaborating with a singer.<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
Section 2: Project Concept (approx. 200 words)<\/strong><\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
For my final project I want to write, record and mix 2 singles into Logic for a duo band I am in which is known as Wild Ride. I want to write and record all the drum, guitar, bass and keyboard parts myself and help write the lyrics with the singer.<\/strong> <\/strong>My aim for this project is to create something I am proud of.<\/strong> My aim for this project is to also practice getting better at different elements of recording such as writing, producing and mixing.<\/strong> <\/strong>I will be working with my friend Ashton who is a singer and we will be writing the lyrics together. <\/strong>I will also be working with Paul to create 2 pieces of artwork for the 2 singles.<\/strong> <\/strong>I will need myself and Ashton, a studio, a drum kit, a guitar, a bass, a MIDI keyboard, Mics and cables.<\/strong> <\/strong>Using articles and YouTube videos, I will be researching how to improve my recording engineering and mixing skills so I can use them to enhance the quality of my songs which should support the development of this project. Overall, I anticipate producing 2 singles that will sound great as well as me being very proud of them since I started writing them a long time ago and they will finally become recorded songs.<\/strong>  <\/strong>  <\/strong>  <\/strong>  <\/strong>  <\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
Section 3: Evaluation (approx. 50 words)<\/strong><\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
While I am doing this project, I will reflect and evaluate my journey to create these 2 singles such as how I wrote them, what instruments I used, how I recorded the instruments, how I mixed them, and etc.<\/strong> <\/strong>I will also do this at the end of the project so I can evaluate and reflect on everything I have done for this project.<\/strong>  <\/strong>  <\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
