For my final project i want to record (on logic) an alternative rock EP of covers of songs i like by bands and artists I like. After deciding what 5 songs I am gonna choose, I will record everything myself such as drums, bass, guitar, piano, vocals and keyboard as well as setting and micing it all up. I will also mix the finish product and produce it all myself. I will be covering the 5 songs the way they were made as they’re already perfect the way they’re. I will also create some artwork for the EP with the assistance of Paul.
What was successful?
I thought i talked about the main premises of my final project well and briefly, as well as talking about the different aspects of my project without much to any preparation.
What was unsuccessful?
I didn’t think that there was anything in particular that went unsuccessful. I only just recently decided what i was gonna do for my final project and still haven’t even choose which songs i will be doing yet.
How could I improve?
Even though i didn’t have all the knowledge on what i was doing yet, I could’ve tried to put more detail in to make it even more clearer and visible to what i am fully doing like talking about the planning and proposal side of my project such as how am i gonna plan it and how am i gonna stick to a schedule and the targets i need to hit every week when it comes to the writing side of my project such as context, research, evaluation and reflection.
