Theres is a lot of difference between these podcast and mine and also there is some similarities, in the first one “The Wild Project” is a very professional podcast about many different topics that they talk about with different guests similar to an interview, in the podcast you can also see, many interviews, the tone and style of the podcast is energetic and its directed to a teenager audience, or audience that likes social media, because the majorities of interview are to social media influencers

In the other in “El Chombo” this podcast is about music and its normally just the presenter talking to the camera, is about music from Elvis Presley to Harry Style the audience that is directed are for everyone in the way of no matter the age music is for everyone, the tone of the podcast is with a lot of comedy to entertain more and to make it more catchy. the difference between “El Chombo” and ‘The Wild Project” is this podcast is focused in one thing.

The difference between my podcast and theirs is that my podcast is focused in one specific thing that is LGBTQ+ and i don’t have any interviews and is a podcast more direct towards this topic, the other podcast topic was different and also the tone and style.

TYPE OF MICROPHONES

Omnidirectional

Perfect for: interviews, moving subjects

Omnidirectional mics are the easiest to understand. Simply put, omnidirectional mics record audio from every direction.

2. Cardioid

Perfect for: documentary recording, weddings, events

  • Cardioid Cardioid microphones are used in applications where sound needs to be picked up from the front and sides but not the rear. An example of this may be musical performance where a singer may be singing in the front, a band playing instruments on the sides, with an audience of viewers in the back.
  • Hypercardioid (MiniShotguns) Due to their nature, supercardioid mics are often used on the live stage – both during concerts as well as spoken-word events, to capture the focused sound of an instrument or voice. The narrow angle of sensitivity helps to minimize the bleed from other sounds on a busy stage.
  • Supercardioid (Shotgun) A supercardioid provides better isolation from room noise and nearby instruments and can be more resistant to feedback than a cardioid mic, but it requires the user to maintain a more consistent position directly in front of the mic.
  • Lobar (Unidirectional)In short, long, mono or stereo varieties shotgun microphones have a very tight lobar polar pattern, meaning they are apt to reject sound sources from behind and to the sides of the capsule, allowing the recordist to focus in on a particular sound. They are often also condenser microphones.
  • Bidirectional (Figure 8 Pattern) The figure-8 pattern has the same sensitivity at 0° and 180°; it is the least sensitive at 90° and 270°. It is often used for various stereo recording techniques (Mid Side, Blumlein). It can also be beneficial in situations where you do not want a signal coming from a 90° angle to bleed into the microphone.
